Finishing Strong - Emotions: Productive vs. Destructive

To finish strong, manage your emotions. Proverbs 12 verse 25 says,

A person’s anxiety will weigh him down, but an encouraging word makes him joyful.”

Direct fear, worry, angst and stress. Note that the reference is to direct, not discard or deny your God-given emotions. Taking your goals from idea to reality is coupled with overcoming doubt and worry, so redirect negative emotions to act as a positive influence.

Trusting your relationship with Jesus keeps your self-doubt, fear and stress in check and replaces these emotions with peace of mind. Directing your emotions to what’s productive versus destructive enables you to perform at the highest level

“Jesus, take my stress, angst, worries and fear and point them to relax and a calmness, confidence and assurance. Trusting You as my Encourager! Love you Jesus, Amen?”
