#9 Take the Risk
Do you harbor yourself in safety? Seldom taking the chance, or coming close to something risky...on purpose? Sylvester Stallone says it so succinctly, "Take the risk or lose the chance." A Pastor recently told me of an even greater impact, if you stay in the box of safety too long, it becomes a coffin. Regardless of the descriptor, God doesn't want us to play life safe.

If God has told you to do something, then He is going to lift you up. Let Him erase your doubts. Let Him shoulder your fears. When you accept God's protection more freely, then you better understand how He will care for you. It's at this moment where fear begins to evaporate and you can take action boldly and confidently.

Of greatest importance, it's even more dangerous to disregard God's voice when He tells us to do something. The risk of waiving off God never overrides the perceived risk of taking the chance Whether taking the risk God tells us to do is protecting us, or the risk is for the benefit of others, remember, God has us. There is no mistake-making with God. "Take the risk or lose the chance!"

"Jesus, I don't want to play it safe! I want to sept-up and step forward in full confidence that You will lead, guide, and direct me to victory. I'm moving ahead! I love you Jesus, Amen!"

1 Chronicles 28:20 (CJB)
"Be strong, be bold, and do it!"

Proverbs 29:25 (GW)
"A person's fear sets a trap for him, but one who trusts the Lord is safe."
Ecclesiastes 11:4 (GW)
"Whoever watches the wind will never plant. Whoever looks at the clouds will never harvest."
