The wealthiest inheritance known to man waits for us. Yet we are prone to drag around yesterday’s doubts, disappointments, and disasters, projecting ourselves into ideal “What-if” situations. “What if I won the lottery and all my financial worries evaporated?” “What if I went from disabled to healed?” “What if I moved from unwanted to wildly loved?” Ironically, all the while, we live lives as the heirs of God. We disable ourselves from living in His promises because we desire something “better” that will ultimately be unfulfilling. Better than any financial windfall, worldly riches, or cosmetic treatments, we are already more prosperous than we imagine as heirs to His kingdom. God urges us to lean forward, accept our inheritance, and not look back. He’s calling us to stretch, strain, and reach for Him. God reminds me to live in victory fully, rising above my circumstances and living in His blessings. He requires me to let go of the discouragement stemming from Satan’s lies. My most significant accomplishments are in front of me. God is leading me to my eternal endowment. His guarantee will keep my life goals, vision, and legacy front and center, entirely focused on what is possible through Him.
