“If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.”

God reveals His will for us by illuminating the gifts He gives us. You can use your skills to establish living in God’s will. Seeing people use their God-given gifts is motivating. I have seen a local couple, once homeless, now giving back. I have seen a teacher finding ways to help her community heal after tragedy. I have seen the neighborhood kid’s lemonade stand raise money for the families of shooting victims. I have seen testimony after testimony of people living using their gifts to enact God’s will, shifting focus to others instead of themselves.
