A lack of immediacy has washed over so many people. ‘I’ll get to it,’ and ‘In just a while,’ are the operative battle cries. Napoleon Hill said, “Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been completed the day before yesterday.” The when of your faith journey is right now. The roadblocks for urgency are common. Afraid of failing or pursuing perfection, both stand in the way. The task is too daunting, or indecision on where to start fuel delay. Satan always works overtime to fuel delay. The inability to make a decision, frozen in your tracks, is his weapon against progress. God responds with one instruction: don’t delay! Decide to start and start now. Brendon Burchard states, “Doubt increases with inaction. Clarity reveals itself in momentum. Growth comes from progress. For all these reasons, BEGIN.” If you take the first step, God guarantees that momentum will follow. Define your when as synonymous with now!
