Defeating Sin

2 Chronicles 15 verse 7 says ”But be strong. Don’t give up. God will reward you for your work.”

We’re all conditioned to receive rewards for certain behavior. Children rewarded for acting a certain way in school. Retailers and Creditors incentivizing us to purchase in definitive ways.

All worldly ways to earn reward but God has a different plan. We’re guaranteed God’s perfect reward in heaven. Our true motive that strengthens and motivates us to live lives pleasing to God. Our ultimate prize in defeating sin!

“Jesus, keep me strong! I won’t give up! Thank you Jesus for guaranteeing we defeat sin, that we crush satan. I’ll continue to fight so I can claim the ultimate reward . . . eternity with You! Love you Jesus, Amen!”
