Feelings That Stifle Faith

Colossians 3 verse 24 instructs, “Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, which he promised to his people.”

Falling short! So often you come so close to victory, the reward is right there, then it crumbles right in front of you!

In the moment failing rarely feels good. When I fell in love with tennis, I trained, and strained, and sacrificed to develop as an athlete. My first tournament delivered a crushing loss, I didn’t win a single game. The first of many but all serving to refine my skills, leading me to Wimbledon 8 years later.

Whether in victory or loss, there are always positives!
