God In The Storm

John 13 verse 7 (NIV) Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

Today I’m struck by the difference between where I sit in the world with mild temps and clear skies, versus the trauma of war that rages in other areas. The volume of pain delivered by war is unfathomable.

No matter our circumstances, God does not promise understanding in this world. A powerful testimony delivered by one in war, thankful for the opportunity to share Christ to people desperate for survival. The one unfailing promise that despite chaos, our troubles, our pain and suffering always bring us closer to God!

“Jesus, I don’t understand but know You are here! I trust Your presence, Your complete control over everything I’m facing! Love you Jesus, Amen!”
