Christ calls us to represent His cause as ambassadors and champion a movement that will raise the quality of life in this world and ensure eternal lives in the next. When I coach young men, a call to action always accompanies my commands. God demands our efforts to improve, to be better, and to become closer to Him. Remaining quiet and inactive are all tools of Satan uses to keep us from receiving our call as an ambassador. Prayer and quiet reflection are necessary, but God calls us to answer with action. Can you imagine the impact if all believers were to live into their calling as ambassadors? This is God’s call to action for you. If you can do something to draw closer to Jesus, do it. If you can take action to change your life or other people’s lives, do it. If you can fight for those who can’t fight for themselves, do it. Be an ambassador for Christ; this is our call to action as His children.
