In Philippians 4, Paul tells us we should be anxious for nothing. And yet we worry, fret, and harbor stubbornness and bitterness. Satan prowls like a lion, ready to attack and destroy. Our cares are burdensome. I often reflect on why this is such a common struggle. God’s command is simple: “Don’t be afraid,” “Don’t be anxious,” and “Don’t worry.” These directives leave no room for miscommunication or misunderstanding. The answer is casting our cares on God, but these truths are difficult to implement while facing trials. This series focuses on how God equips us to address, arrest, and overcome fear and worry. We must cast our cares to God in ten aspects. We can arm ourselves with His power and might and let go of our worries.
