Focus On What's Right
Philippians 4:7-9 (CSB)
“And the peace of God...will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable— if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things.”

Casting your cares on God starts with focusing on what is right in our lives. Staring at what is honorable must be an intentional practice. This focus becomes even more critical when considering how much easy access we have to the wrong in the world.
Getting our minds right is essential. Satan corrupts our minds, enticing us to compromise. He relentlessly weighs us down with one lie after another until the pressure causes us to look for relief. At this moment, Satan floods us with temptation after temptation to turn our lives upside down.
We need to prepare a counter-attack against his attempts. Instead of allowing evil influences, sin, or our brokenness to feed us, we must fill our minds with good, positive, and godly thoughts. Think about your relationship with Christ himself. Be present with Him in this very moment. Invite Him in. What can follow is a wave of peace and clear focus.
