Christ designs us to fight and battle for His will. Our Lord is a fighter and a warrior willing to fight for us, in front of us, and through us to protect us. We must be ready to go to war against our enemies and fight for God’s will. This is only possible through Christ. A fight is not always pretty, nor is it safe. To be in harm’s way and to risk injury emotionally, mentally, and physically are steps of faith and a commitment that requires God’s strength and courage. But we are commissioned by God to fight. God embeds the choice to join His army in His will. When I go to war, I trust that all things are possible through Christ, including His protection.
