We discover God’s will when He tests us. When troubles arise, we default to asking God where He is: “Why are bad things happening to me?” “Jesus, why do you allow me to suffer?” The reality is that God will enable us to suffer so He can equip us to fight. Satan is relentless and unforgiving. He is the demon that wants to see us destroyed. He wants our lives to include challenges so that we wonder and wander when he asks, “Where is your God now?” My answer is that God is right here, right now, and in plain sight. My faith in Christ is not defined by whether my life is void of challenge. I would not find Him often if I only found Him when life was easy. The more God challenges me, the more I recognize that He desires to prepare me for His plan. If I’m in a struggle, I know I will become more equipped to fight Satan and persevere against him. God will challenge me, but I trust He will get me through it.
