Doing the same thing and expecting something new or different always proves up. The saying, “If I do what I’ve always done, I will always get what I already have,” is true. Facing the unknown requires our willingness to try something new. To break old habits, old ways, and tired routines we have to be willing to face the unknown purposefully.
God designed in our Spirit the willingness to step towards new things. He commands us to take action in the direction He prompts. When we do, we gain one of His most significant rewards. Fear takes a back seat, and our sense of adventure grows. We find ourselves aligned with His purpose for our lives.
Practice intentionally moving into new things. Fear will transform from a crippling barrier to an open gate. Step through, and God’s plan for you will be set free. When you do, all of the world’s shackles, all the self-imposed limitations, and all the naysayers who build obstacles of the impossible will be removed. Step forward with the confidence of God’s Spirit and face the unknown.
