Who Can I Trust?
The Bible tells us over and over not to put trust in other people!

Proverbs 28:26 says, “Those who trust in themselves are fools.” Jeremiah 17:5 is another example: “This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed is the one who trusts in man.’” Isaiah 2:22 is next: “Stop trusting in mere humans.” And Psalm 146:3: “Do not trust in noblemen, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.” Seems straightforward, right?
So, who can I trust? I witnessed one family member put all their trust in their spouse; then, in an instant, their spouse was gone. Healthy one moment, the next, a fatal heart attack. What’s left is a void, trust shattered every time humanity proves their humanness.
The answer? To love people, but trust only in God. People will disappoint and disappear, but God never will. We are with Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and under God’s mighty authority that’s never taken away, never looks the other way, and always reveals that He is the only way. The answer is: trust God!
