Proverbs 13 verse 20 (NIV) warns, “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”

You listen for tomorrow and you wonder, you listen to yesterday and you regret, you listen within for the whispers of God and you grow to understand. Pope John VI said, “of all human activities, man's listening to God is the supreme act of his reasoning and will.”

Listening, perhaps the one superpower that’s overlooked in today’s world.

God instructs us to surround ourselves with wise counsel to sort through the confusion and noise by listening to Christ. Listen for Jesus to better understand.

Jesus, help me listen to others but also be disciplined to quiet the noise around me so I can listen to You! Love you Jesus, Amen!”
